The Sandman, Vol. 2: The Doll's House

The Sandman, Vol. 2: The Doll's House - Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Malcolm Jones III, Steve Parkhouse, Todd Klein, Chris Bachalo, Mike Dringenberg, Michael Zulli Where the first volume in the Sandman series vividly established the Sandman as a strange, enchanting, and very dangerous character, Gaiman's second volume starts to dig into the Sandman's vulnerabilities. At the same time, there is the crazy and oddly fun premise of a serial killer convention that poses a threat for a young woman who becomes the focus of Sandman's mission. It's much more focused than the first series, I thought, and found it to be a good enough follow-up to make me look forward to Volume #3.
