Batman: The Killing Joke

Batman: The Killing Joke - Tim Sale, Brian Bolland, Alan Moore While I wouldn't be among those to call this the best Batman story in comic book history, it was certainly an enjoyable read in its own right. I did, however, have issues with the origin story of the Joker. I just didn't buy it. The artwork is fantastic. The dialog is great for the most part. But the ending felt ambiguous. Plus, the drastic contrast between the Joker and his humbler, pre-villain counterpart were too disparate for me to believe they're cut from the same cloth.
